We got married at Medicine Wind Farm on Memorial Day weekend this year. We had been looking for a rustic venue and our planner suggested this beautiful red barn. We had our ceremony at the Gazebo overlooking the lake, the Reception inside and our party at the Pavilion. We had S’mores favors and a fire pit by the pavilion and ended the night with a last dance surrounded by sparklers before we drove off with Bella to our hotel. Our wedding was featured on Southern Bride’s Real Weddings and I am so excited for our venue. They deserve it!

Medicine Wind Farm is a hidden treasure in Summerville SC that offers many different locations to marry. Your can choose to marry at the Gazebo over looking the pond, the front lawn area, under the shaded pavilion, or inside the beautiful and elegant event center. My deciding factor to book with this lovely venue was based on taking one look inside with the gorgeous chandeliers, chimney and mantle area, enough space to cater to a large wedding. I had a lot of compliments from... several guests and family about how beautiful our venue was. The real gem of the venue was the event coordinator Jamie Roman (aka Girl Jamie). Girl Jamie went above and beyond for myself and my husband Jamey (aka Boy Jamey). She thought of everything! She is very passionate about making your day everything you have ever dreamed it to be. She is very knowledgeable on using and recommending other vendors or ideas to help you achieve the wedding you desire. Girl Jamie was with me every step of the way between meetings, phone calls, texts, emails, and Facebook messages. She set up everything and took the stress of all the small details off of me. She does not rest until everything is complete. Girl Jamie took care of everything for my Rehearsal Dinner along with my Wedding. Ever since our first meeting we connected as more than just bride and event coordinator; we were friends. Our meetings were not just about wedding stuff but catching up on our daily lives that led to hours of talking with each other. She truly cares about her clients/friends. My family and friends all adore her after finally putting a face to the name at our wedding. If you ask us Jamie Roman is the hidden treasure at majestic venue of Medicine Wind. She is not just a friend but family in our eyes. We are forever grateful for all she did for us on April 22, 2017. We love you!
